Domain not working
Common problems when connecting a domain and how to fix them.
Your provider doesn't allow CNAME on the root domain (@)
Some DNS providers only allow CNAME on subdomains. The simplest fix: connect `www.yourdomain.com` in Trano and set the record Name to www. Or move DNS management to Cloudflare (free, allows CNAME at the root).

Set the CNAME record to DNS only (grey cloud), not proxied (orange cloud).
Still "Propagating" after 30 minutes
- Check the Value: exactly
proxy.trano.ai, with nohttp://or trailing/. - Delete any old A or AAAA record with the same name (often left by a previous host) — it blocks the CNAME.
- Check with a tool such as dnschecker.org: look up your domain, type CNAME; you should see
proxy.trano.ai. - Press Check now in Trano instead of waiting for the automatic check.
Stuck on "SSL Pending"
Usually done within 15 minutes. If your domain has a CAA record that allows only one specific certificate authority, the certificate can't be issued — remove the CAA record or contact support.
Changing or removing a domain
Page settings → Domain → Disconnect domain. The page keeps running at its sites.trano.ai address.
